Recently, a patient thanked Dr. Bassett and her team by donating to our clinic via UHN’s Honour Your Hero program. We are delighted that Dr. Bassett was honoured, and we greatly appreciated the financial support. Interestingly, it turned out that the patient does not have a 22q deletion.
We take this opportunity to remind everyone that we receive no Ministry of Health or institutional funding support for our educational, outreach, and other activities (e.g., our website) for patients with 22q and their families. Many families (and friends) have kindly made donations to help our Clinic. We invite you to support our work too.
